Pre season 2025

After a busy winter and our visit to the Paris shipyard, there was much to do aboard as we prepared for the upcoming 2025 cruise season. The crew arrived, along with helpers, all along with smiles and determination with the fast approaching first week of the season on our minds.

We were blessed with perfect weather for sanding and painting outside. It was all hands on deck to make the most of the spring sunshine.

The deck arrived from storage in eight large panels. Lifting them aboard sparked the usual antics from four strong men, carefully positioning themselves to avoid falling into the river whilst crossing the gang plank and then as they hoisted the boards up and over the railings - no mean feat.

Inside, the cabins were painted, polished, and finished with new furnishings - curtains, cushions, and throws in warm golden hues. In the bathrooms, Molton Brown toiletries were carefully arranged as the final touch.

Oh, the joy for one and all when everyone knows we’re ready to welcome our first passengers.
