Step 2: Send booking form

This booking form confirms official name(s), special requests, contact details and your prefered payment method.
After we have recieved your booking form, we will email you with an invoice and invoice reference number, allowing you to then complete Step 3.
Step 3: Pay 25% deposit
Deposits are required to reserve a cruise booking on the Luciole.
A deposit is 25% of the total agreed price of the cruise.

Step 4: Pay final payment
Final payment is the remaining balance and is due at the latest; 90 days before the cruise departure date.
If your booking is made within 90 days of your cruise date, then the total cruise price must be paid in full.

How to pay?
To pay the deposit OR final remaining payment OR full payment (If the booking is made within 90 days of the cruise start date) you may use one of the follow methods:

- Manually via bank wire transfer
- Post a cheque
- PayPal link (Required for American Express)

Terms and Conditions
The chartering contract is between Luciole passengers and the bookings company, Inland Voyages (Bookings) Limited, on behalf of the hotel barge operators Inland Voyages Limited, proprietors of the Luciole. All agreements entered into shall be governed by English Law.
Confirmation of a Luciole cruise with a deposit or full payment verifies that each named passenger understands and accepts our Booking Conditions, and that the payee has the authorisation to make a payment on behalf of all those named.
All prices are based on costs and exchange rates prevailing at the date of publication. Inland Voyages (Bookings) Limited reserves the right to vary particulars and prices shown in print and online after the date of publication.
Cabin reservations are confirmed upon the receipt of a deposit of 25% of the total fare. Final payment is due 90 days prior to the cruise departure date.
Passengers are requested to advise Inland Voyages (Bookings) Limited at the time of booking, of any personal condition that may require special arrangements, medical equipment, care and assistance. This is to ensure that passengers cruise in accordance with official safety regulations.
Travel insurance is not included in the cruise price. We strongly advised that full travel and health insurance is taken out prior to making a deposit or full payment. Please note our cruise cancellation and refund policy below.
Our payment and cancelation Booking Conditions are industry standard. The Conditions are based on the lengthy time period during which bookings are confirmed, and the limited number of places available on board a hotel barge.
Individual booking payments
Deposit payments confirming the booking are non-refundable.
Final and full payments made within the 90 days of the cruise departure are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Charter group payments:
Deposit payments for the group booking are non-refundable with the exception of cancellation more than 180 days prior to departure, when deposit payments may be transferred to individual bookings. Final and full payments are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
Welfare and safety of all who cruise on the Luciole is paramount. The Luciole is licensed and controlled by the French Department de la Sécurité des Transports Fluviaux (Department for the Security for Water Transport) regulated under European Legislation.
Inland Voyages Limited is unable to accept responsibility should it not be possible to provide any part of the itinerary as a result of ‘Force Majeure’ (unusual and unforeseeable circumstances). This includes (without limitation); adverse weather conditions, such as flooding and drought, unforeseen technical problems on the barge or closures to the waterway on which we cruise. Nor can we accept war or the threat of war, terrorist activity or the threat of terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, civil commotion as in strikes or industrial action, medical problems including illness or disease or other unforeseen incidents on board the barge beyond our control, as a reason for cancelation.
In the unusual circumstance that Inland Voyages Limited is unable to provide a significant portion of the vacation, suitable alternative arrangements shall be made to continue the vacation. Inland Voyages Limited reserves the absolute right to vary the week’s itinerary at no extra cost to the passenger, in the case of Force Majeure.
Inland Voyages Limited requests that passengers are not adversely affect the safety, general well being and enjoyment of the vacation for fellow passengers throughout their week together. In the unfortunate occurrence of a crime, on or off the barge, passengers must report the incident to the Captain, who will notify Police.
Passengers are not permitted to bring on board: controlled or prohibited substances or items of an inflammable or dangerous nature. To do so, is in breach of these Conditions and will render the passenger financially liable to compensate directly Inland Voyages Limited or any individual, for expenses suffered as a result of injury, damage or loss.
Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they arrive in plenty of time for the transfers to and from the Luciole. Inland Voyages Limited accepts no responsibility for passengers arriving late or missing the transfer departure times. Inland Voyages (Bookings) Limited is able to assist with travel arrangements for passengers arriving or leaving the Luciole independently, however, any alternative transport costs incurred, are the responsibility of the passenger(s).
Inland Voyages Limited reserves the right to terminate the cruise of any passenger(s) who does not comply with our Booking Conditions. Inland Voyages Limited will not tolerate inappropriate behaviour that risks the health, welfare or property of fellow passengers, the crew, or the Luciole. Upon the termination of the vacation, Inland Voyages Limited shall not be held responsible for any further costs to the individual(s) following the departure from the barge.
