End of the 2018 season

Seasons come and seasons go. Way too fast! Thank you to everyone, passengers and crew who joined us in 2018.

Our last week of the season, family charter left from Clamecy, so the crew cruised back to Auxerre, winterising the Luciole on the way. Misty mornings began the day until the sun burnt off and shone through, and we were still cruising as the sun went down. The crew had time to walk and bike and chill and enjoy this beautiful canal and scenes from the water. Marc cooked up a storm for all in the galley, as usual….

Cruising into Auxerre is always a heart-stopping moment. Particularly for the last time in October. Bubbly was popped to celebrate our safe arrival. Hats off as always to Captain Francisco for his expert piloting throughout the season and to our winter mooring.
