No. 9 - Montparnasse tower

A great view, without the hassle of the Eifel Tower, it’s 210m tall. It offers a very similar 360 view to the Eifel tower, but you get to look at the Eifel tower, and the Champagne is a lot cheaper!

Open 7 days a week from
9:30 am to 10:30 pm Sunday to Thursday
9:30 am to 11 pm Friday to Saturday.

Get up there for sunset or night time. There’s never been a queue when I’ve gone up and it’s just 1 lift. They even run yoga courses at the top from 8-9:30am every Tuesday. It does still cost, prices vary but expect to pay €18 per adult. Entrance is from outside on the North Western corner.

Yes, it lacks the romance of the Eifel Tower, but perhaps in the time you gain, you can find something else special to do
