Just a straight up lovely week with lovely guests. With September being here the light has started to change and mellow slightly from the intense mid summer sun. Glorious weather for our arrival into Auxerre and a full moon at night.

The purple cyclamens were blooming in the front garden of the pink chateau in Pregilbert. A short distance from the boat, passengers took bikes to see this annual and enchanting sight, the gardens were designed by André Le Nôtre, who also has the gardens of Versailles on his CV.
