There really is a hint of Autumn in the air now. The leaves are on the turn, especially on the vines, in the morning the spider webs glisten in dew and a mist hangs over the water until the sun burns through, a beautiful time of the year.
The Captain and matelot entertained us with their on-going competition of throwing the lines, trying to lasso the bollard from the barge.
