An excellent week of very hot weather, with a lovely group of people, including Gerrit and his family from Belgium, Gerrit was Captain of the Luciole over 30 years ago, he had some great stories of the days gone by from his 4 years at the helm. It was a pleasure to have this kind man back onboard.

From a past captain to the present, this was the first week cruising on the Luciole for Captain Jim, from the North West of France, Jim has plenty of experience on barges and navigated the Luciole along this challenging waterway like a pro. Owner Will joined to help pass on his experience of the waterway.
