Our season kicked off in the early May sunshine with a group of lovely passengers. A cruise full of walking, talking and sitting on the edge of daisy lawns, waiting for the Luciole to glide into her moorings. There was relaxation and plenty of activity with the new bikes put through their paces.

Captain Pierre and matalot James were assisted down the canal with the guidance of William and previous matelot Tom. For our new hosts, Michelle and Hester, it was the highly respected Emma who diligently steered and assisted them, with her calm and familiar smile.

We returned to Haude at her restaurant 'La Grange' in Noyers for our on-shore lunch, such a cosy time in true Burgundian style. Altogether the perfect beginning to our 2019 season.
