Spring

Spring has arrived in Burgundy and the region is blooming with blossom and yellow mustard fields. It is always an uplifting time, the winters can be long with temperatures dropping well ibellow freezing.

The Luciole is still on her mooring in Auxerre, we are so looking forward to cruising again later in the summer. There really is nothing like the Nivernais Canal, with the combination of canal and river. 'Wild swimming' being so popular at present, we certainly know the joys of jumping and diving from the side decks of the Luciole, or wading in off the the river banks. Pure joy!
