Summer

What a year this is. In fact it is the first season in 55 years that our barge has not cruised.

The Luciole is moored in Auxerre, a centre piece of the quay, featuring in so many people’s photos as they marvel over the stunning skyline of the Cathedral of St Etienne and Abbey of St Germain, that both tower over the town.

It certainly is hard to believe the travel restrictions of 2020. We look forward to next season, knowing that we will be cruising again along the glorious Nivernais Canal, meeting our passengers, making and renewing friendships.
