The last of our Adventure Charter Cruises for this season. Climbing, canoeing, horse riding, zip lining, cycling the towpath and of course as lots of swimming in the River Yonne. The weather was wonderful and the visiting family a joy to be with.

Budding student architect Tim was treated to a personal rendezvous with Chris of the Maison du Visiteur in Vezelay. In a short 30 minutes the achievements of Basilica's construction were revealed in inspiring and breath taking simplicity.

Guedelon - the Medieval village in the making and zip lining through the trees was a great success. Nothing like the thrill of adrenalin, experienced on this day and cave climbing earlier in the week. For others cruising into Auxerre, under the bridge of Pont Paul Bert to see the Cathedral and Abbey revealed does take some beating.
